Most 2nd opinions and consultations we encounter with are from patients that have been to other care providers and were left with unanswered questions or concerns. They seek us out because of our reputation for taking time and offering personalized attention to our patients. Dr. Mace has the integrity and compassion to simply “tell it like it is”, and won’t recommend unnecessary treatment.
Sometimes patients seek us out because the level of care they require is beyond what their dentist is comfortable providing. We will work with these patients and their dentists in whatever way they prefer, and will help however we can.
If you decide after speaking with Dr. Mace in your complimentary consultation that you would like us to deliver your care, we can reserve an appointment for you to join our practice as a new patient. During this new patient appointment, Dr. Mace will review your medical and dental history, assess the health of your jaw (TMJ), complete an examination of your soft tissues (including a screening for oral cancer), conduct a tooth-by-tooth exam, do a periodontal charting as a screening for periodontal disease, and take any films and photos needed for planning your case.
